Wat een jaar! Zo veel beleefd en zoveel ervaren. De mooiste dingen en de verdrietigste, blijdschap, maar ook de tranen. Dit jaar heeft ons weinig goeds gebracht, maar 2020 zal vast ons jaar worden! 

December voelt voor mij heel magisch. Ik mis soms de sneeuw om het plaatje compleet te maken, maar al die lichtjes buiten, soms de open haard binnen, de warme chocomelk, kerstcadeautjes en gezelligheid is onmisbaar. Een mooie en bijzondere kerstkaart hoort daar gewoon bij.

Elk jaar maak ik een kerstkaart van alle highlight-foto’s van dat afgelopen jaar, persoonlijker kan niet! Dit keer heb ik het via Kaartje2go gedaan. Deze naam voor het versturen van de kaarten heb ik wel eens vaker gehoord, maar wat ik helemaal niet wist is dat je de kaart helemaal naar jouw eigen smaak kan aanpassen! Dat het zo uitgebreid en makkelijk zou zijn kwam voor mij als een verrassing. 

Ik wist niet precies wat mij te wachten stond voor de mogelijkheden in het ontwerp en de bestelprocedure, dus stond ik hier blanco in en gebruikte de mooiste foto’s van ons gezinnetje. Eerst heb ik een bepaalde stijl gekozen in het thema ‘kerst’: warm, cosy en modern. Eentje waar ik een eigen tekst en foto in kwijt kan, dubbelzijdig dus. Al snel kon ik mijn favorieten opslaan om de dag erna de definitieve keuze te gaan maken van de kaart waarop ik mijn eigen ontwerp zou gaan maken en verfijnen. Dit ontwerp heb ik als basis gekozen zodat ik daarna een eigen foto, tekst, kleur en kaders hieraan kon toevoegen. Alles ging makkelijk en snel. Het ontwerp die je maakt wordt bewaard zodat je dat op een andere tijdstip nog kan aanpassen. 

Toen mijn ontwerp helemaal klaar was kon ik kiezen uit 3 formaten, verschillende papiersoorten, enveloppen en stickers. Voor het aantal bestelde kerstkaarten krijg je er gratis witte of rode enveloppen bij. Om het helemaal af te maken kan je bijpassende kerst sluitzegels bestellen. 

Helemaal blij was ik toen het mooie stapeltje kaarten twee dagen later aankwam. Heel mooi en professioneel gedrukt op prachtig papier en met mooie rode enveloppen en een feestelijke sluitzegel. Ik weet zeker dat we veel complimenten hierover terug gaan krijgen!
